Hi there. I am building my first home network. I have bought Linksys WRT54GL router and I have connected three computers on it (two desktops and one laptop). Network is working fine but I have concerns about network security. I have some sensitive files on these computers and I would like to be sure that none can access them. Is it possible to achieve?

Hello. There is no such thing as perfectly secure network (or computer, for that matter). All you can do is to make your network secure enough so that potential intruder do not have interest to spend so much time in trying to penetrate your security. You have router which is good thing because it works as hardware router and you can close all ports except essential ones. Find some reliable antivirus and antispyware software and your network security will be good enough.
