Hello! I have made small wireless home local area network through NetGear WGR614 wireless router. But, I think that I have a problem. Namely, I am not able to use peer to peer programs at all. I really do not know what the problem is and how to solve it. I hope that you will know much then I do about networking.

Hello! I assume that only your 25, 21, 80, 110 and 8080 ports are opened. So, you obviously have this problem, because you did not make port forwarding. Namely, you did not open one port for this purpose. So, you will need to do that if you want to be able to use peer to peer connection.
