Since the other day, I'm having trouble maintaining connection to the internet through my wireless router. After a while, a message informs me that I have "limited or no connectivity" and later that it can't renew my IP address. However, the system tray still shows excellent signal. I'm not sure why I would need to renew the IP address, or what that means. Any advice would be great, thanks.

The easiest way is to do it "manually" – go Start -> Run, and type "ipconfig / release", followed by "ipconfig / renew". If this doesn't work, check for interference – a large number of wireless network problems are caused by that. Try using a different channel, like 1, 6, or 11. That's about all I can think of off the top of my head.
