| I have three computers in my home network. All three computers are desktops and they are connected via router. Everything worked fine until network connection stopped working on one computer. I am not able to connect to other computers in network and I am not able to connect to internet. Also, other two computers do not see this one in network. What do you think about this problem? |

| It looks like your network adapter died. But before you buy another one you should perform several checks. Take a network adapter from one working computers and install it in this one. If network start working then it is definitely adapter. If you can not connect again then check cables in the same manner. At last, check if you have installed some software on that computer prior it stopped working. |

I'm having the same problem. My internet just stopped working and I tried everything. I even tried changing the network and nothing happened. I am running Zone Alarm. Could that be the cause if the sudden loss of any network function on my PC. My laptops both work and are connected (that's how I'm posting this). My PC just stopped and when i type ipconfig /renew nothing happens. /release "releases" it. I'm trying everything I can, and I just can't figure it out. If anyone can help, I would be greatly appreciated on your help and knowledge I will have gained.
PS. I am posting this from my MAC and I've never had a single problem with this bad boy. Greatest computer ever!!! (sorry had to throw this in) |
