Hello! I have small home local area network and a problem with network card on one of the computers. From some reason this network card is not detected anymore in Device Manager. I am running windows XP professional operating system (service pack 2 is installed) and I suspect that this operating system is cause of the problem. Am I right?

Hello! Well, I doubt that you are right. I think that your network card is broken. But, to be sure try to use option in Device Manger for searching new hardware. If it is not still recognized, then check if it is well attached. Also, check this network card on some other computer and you will know for sure is it working one or not.
