Network Cable Plugged - Cannot connect

Hello! I have small home local area network. I have three computers connected with router. All of them are running Windows XP Professional operating system (Service Pack 2 installed). One of the computers became invisible on this network. My friend told me that this has something to do with workgroup. Is that true?

Hello! You actually have only two computers on the network right now. I think that could be that your friend is right. Check if all of the computers in same workgroup; because if they are not, mentioned problem can occur. Also, I suggest you to check connection cable - could be that it is broken or not well plugged. Also, check network card – could be that is broken or it has corrupted or it is missing driver.
