Hello1 I have installed Netgear wireless router and I have some troubles with it. Namely, my connection very often fails. My friend told me that is because I use service Pack 1. I cannot believe that is the true, because everything else works just fine. I have never installed Service Pack 2, because my machine works properly. Please, tell me what the cause of problem is and hoe to solve it? Thanks!

Hello! Believe it or not, your friend is right. Service Pack 1 has bug and that is why you have problem with your connection. To solve this problem you can download Service Pack 2 for your XP OS, because there this bug is fixed or do manually following to disable 802.1x authentication: start - connect to - show all connection - your wireless network - general - properties - wireless networks - preferred networks - your home network - properties - authentication - disable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network.
