| Hello1 I have installed Netgear wireless router and I have some troubles with it. Namely, my connection very often fails. My friend told me that is because I use service Pack 1. I cannot believe that is the true, because everything else works just fine. I have never installed Service Pack 2, because my machine works properly. Please, tell me what the cause of problem is and hoe to solve it? Thanks! |

| Hello! Believe it or not, your friend is right. Service Pack 1 has bug and that is why you have problem with your connection. To solve this problem you can download Service Pack 2 for your XP OS, because there this bug is fixed or do manually following to disable 802.1x authentication: start - connect to - show all connection - your wireless network - general - properties - wireless networks - preferred networks - your home network - properties - authentication - disable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network. |
