I need to login to access my Netgear router's configuration! I don't remember having to do that the first time I set it up… though there was this tech guy who did most of the work, but he never told me anything about a login and password screen. Isn't there some way to reset the damn thing, or just find the password online or something (if it's th default one)? Thanks a lot,

Honestly, I don't know of a router that /doesn't/ have a login screen that you need to go through before you reach configuration. Don't you have the manual? It should tell you the default entries that you need. If you don't, you should try "admin" as a login ID, and "password" as password – these are the most common ones AFAIK.
