| I have recently decided to build my first website. It will be mostly oriented towards personalized content like uploading videos and writing blogs. However, as this would be my first website, I am not sure which tools to use. Any kind of suggestion would be very helpful. Thanks in advance. |

There are several levels of complexity in a website. As you have not done things like that before, you need to decide how complex your site will be. Judging based on its purpose, it will be very complex. You will need to know a programming languages like CSS and HTML, also specialized language like asp or php. However, if you know something of the mentioned, and need simply a tool, I suggest you get Visual Web Developer 2005. It was designed by Microsoft and I am sure you will find it useful. For more info and a brief tutorial, I suggest you go to http://www.dotnetheaven.com/UploadFile/mahesh/

Try an app called bluevoda, quite a nice design application, looks like an office apps interface, decent online help section as well.
