I have a small office network with two desktop computers and one laptop. They are connected via router and they are accessing internet via that router too. Recently one of the desktop computers started behaving oddly on network. It could not access internet and other two computers. Then it was able to do everything. After some time his network died again. Do I need new network adapter?

Hello. It looks like your network card is malfunction and you need a new network adapter. Just to be sure check cable from router to this computer and connectors on cable. Maybe the problem is wit Cat5 not with network adapter. Switch cables with a working computer and see what will happen. If it continues to behave like this then it is time for new network card.
