Hello. I am a novice computer user and I need help with computer security. I have heard about many threats on Internet, about viruses, spyware, hackers and everything else. I am worried that something will go terribly bad on my computer if I do not understand at least basics of computer security. Can you tell me how to protect myself on internet?

Hello. There are many threats on internet and computer security is really important these days. On of the most reliable things you can do is to avoid suspicious web sites and not to open files you are not sure about. Besides this, basic security involves functional and always up to date antivirus and antispyware software. Firewall is also essential if you are not behind a router.
