Hello. I have a Windows XP HE install CD here, but I'm having difficulties installing it. The problem is, the whole damn interface is in Japanese. I thought I would have a selection of languages right off the bat, so I could install it, and that only than it would default to Japanese, but no, it's all the way. I can't make out enough to get through the installation. I tried downloading the Language Interference Pack off MS.com, but it won't work. I'm running out of ideas here…

Well, if I understand your situation correctly, the easiest solution (depending on your internet connection, though) would be this: Find and download an illegal copy of XP in English, and the install it using the product key from your Japanese copy. Make sure the warez you download is also Home Edition, though, coz your key from Home probably won't work for Pro.
