Hello, everyone. I have a problem with charging my laptop's battery: I plug it into the AC, but nothing happens – the little light doesn't come on, and the battery doesn't charge. The power icon shows: "battery remaining: N/A" When plugged in, the laptop works OK, but not on battery. Do I have to replace the battery, or what? Thanks for any advice you may have.

Possibly, but this may not be necessary. What you should try first is updating your laptop's BIOS. Go to the Toshiba site (csd.toshiba.com.) and find your model and the most up to date version of its BIOS available for download. If you have no experience flashing the BIOS, get someone who's done it before to help you. If the update doesn’t help, the battery may really be dead.
