Need decent encryption software?

Hello! I am looking for some nice encryption software. I actually needed for my messenger. I am using for years ICQ and I hope that it is developed some encryption software for it. I need other one for Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook, too. I hope that you will recommend me something. Thanks!
