| I am in a very unpleasant situation with my Desktop PC. While I am playing WOW, I am used to chat with my guild companion trough Ventrilo. Now, because of sound card drivers I guess, the sound suddenly became unavailable for the app. While I can hear everything correctly inside the game. I am using some kind of CMI8738 sound card if that helps. Any ideas, somebody? Thanks in advance. |

| Well, I think that there is nothing else left to say about your problem, but that you may need to reinstall those audio card drivers as well. CMI is C-Media actually. And the newest drivers that you can find over the internet are around 2 or 3 years old. So, go ahead and reinstall those drivers and Ventrilo right after. Ventrilo takes very little of your time for configuration, so it won’t be a problem. |
