Hello everyone. I had a very nasty trojan infection on my computer. It started when I downloaded some PDF files from Internet. I think that this trojan was in PDF documents but I am not sure how this is possible. Can you tell me your opinion about this and how to protect myself in the future from similar threats.

Hello there. It is possible that trojan is attached to PDF file as it is possible to for viruses to be attached to any other file type. To avoid infections in the future you have to install and use properly (everyday updates and frequent scans) some reliable antivirus software and antispyware software. Also, essential to security is to open files obtained only from trusted sources.
