It's been driving me nuts these past few days. In OpenGL applications I keep getting, you've guessed it, the MSV C+ runtime error, and subsequent lockup. In D3D, I "only" get massive artifacting, which renders games completely unplayable. 2D works OK, of course. I've cleaned it, applied paste lovingly and precision, reinstalled XP, checked for all sorts of hardware conflicts I could think of, and nothing helped. I'm running out of options here, so …

Had the same thing happen to me with that card, pretty sure it was Windows-related, though. The reason being I installed FC4 later, and the GF worked perfectly there. When I switch back to XP, nada. Betcha you can't guess how I got rid of the problem? I disabled, get this, onboard audio support from in-system, using Dev Manager. I have no idea what it had to do with the graphics, but there you go. Worked perfectly ever since.
