Hello! After I’ve done some system update to my old WinNT computer, I rebooted the system but wouldn’t boot up completely. An error occurs – NTDETECT Failed to load. Fortunately I have a Windows boot diskette so I can start it that way, but it’s really annoying cause I often forget to put it in on boot-up. Any chance to fix this error?

Hmm, in newer windows systems there is a recovery console where you can fix boot files. I suppose there’s something similar for WinNT. However if your machine is not so old, you’d consider upgrading your system to Win2k, its pretty cheap nowadays, and it runs pretty ok on a 300-400MHz, 64Mb machine.
