Hi there. I have this antivirus for a long time. Version 2.7 and I am not planning to change the one even in the future, just because very small amount of resources that it uses to operate. I can tell that it is pretty functional, but I wonder should I pay more attention to other threats except viruses? Is this version of Nod capable to detect spyware too? Thanks in advance.

I believe that Nod32 version 2.7 and lower is nothing more than efficient antivirus tool with integrated antivirus monitoring module. This means that you are just going to install one more additional utility written only to detect spyware and malware. Ad-aware from Lavasoft for example, or to obtain the latest Nod32 version, which is not cheap, but pretty much effective, you should have no doubt about that.
