| need help with ethernet card for cable modem and windows 98, i am trying to get my daughter hooked up to the cable modem and she has an older computer with windows98. when the computer boots up, just started saying "network adapter 3 com etherlink 111 ISA (3C509b-TPO) in pnp mode (0000) is not working properly. may need to set it up again," i tried to hook it up to the ethernet and to the usb connection but it does not recognize the modem, any suggestions. i don['t know if i need to set any thing else on the computer or what to do. any help would be appreciated, just simple instructions. thanks |
