Hello! I have NEC DVD writer and I have never had any problem with it, until few days ago. Namely, it stopped to recognize DVD media. In Device Manager I can see that it is listed as SCSI CD. I have tried to uninstall it and install again, but this action nothing changed. Have you any idea about this? Thank you!

Hello! I have same problem and I searched internet for answer. To be honest, I just found more people with same problem, but we did not find answer why this happens sometimes. I assume that this is some trouble with registry keys, but I have never proved that (and I have tried). Anyway, you will solve your problem when you reinstall your operating system (this is proved by me and others with same issue).
