| It just disappeared after I restarted, I don't know why. When I click the shortcut that I normally use, I get that window that says it's trying to find it, and then it says the closest thing it could find was some other .exe file… I looked manually in the Windows folder, and couldn't find it. Anyone have any idea what’s going on? BTW, my OS is Windows 98, in case it matters. |

| Not sure why that would happen, but frankly, I'm not surprised. Windows 98 is famous for little quirks like that. Just reinstall it (Add Remove Programs / Add or Remove Windows Components). Or better yet, get a replacement. There's a freeware tool called "metapad" that looks and feels much like notepad but has a few additional useful features I highly recommend it. |
