| I cant believe I actually broke my Secure Digital hard disk. Man has to be really clumsy to do that. Of course, it wont work. My friend opened it and said everything is fine. I cant believe that is true! Just to mention, I drop it on the floor. It looks like it has no physical damages, although I cannot be sure. Could it be some system damage or accident auto-format? It has USB cable with it and it has external supply. It is made by Secure Digital and when I bought it, it was one of the best. Is there any software, like System mechanic, which can repair it? |

| Well, you must be silly if you think that System mechanics or Sisoft Sandra could repair your HDD. It could be system error, and it could be physical damage. Auto-format can happen when some of hard disk pins accidentally touch some of the components. I am not completely sure about that, but I know that it can happen with internal IDE devices. Since both are working as a sequence memory, I think that its possible. Maybe some of the pins accidentally touched each other, who knows. Replace all internal cables, just to for the case. Only tragedy in this situation is loss of data. I hope you didnt have any important data on it! So, this is both system and physical error, as you see. There is no software for this kinds of problems, but you can if you want. |
