I tried converting my iPod to the Mac format, because I recently switched (finally). However, it went wrong somewhere. Only about 10% of the content transferred, and the rest just disappeared, presumably deleted. I tried going back to Win, but that didn't work, it's no longer recognized by iTunes! What am I supposed to do now?

So, what's its status on the Mac? Can't you restore from there? What exactly is the response from iTunes that you get. In any case, you could always try formatting (I recommend with the HP formatter tool), and then restoring, but that won't get your songs back.
