My desktop

My brother was using my PC while I was away on holiday. And now since I came back I'm unable to move a single icon on my desktop. He says he doesn't know what he's done and since I was really rough on him I believe it's the truth. I know this may sound a bit silly but I always liked to have my icons arranged in a certain manner, depending on the desktop picture. Does anyone know what's gone wrong?

Oh, this is really simple. I suppose he's accidentally clicked the 'Auto-Arrange Icons' option - you can access it by right-clicking desktop background. I suppose you've seen this menu before – it also contains 'arrange icons' option and under it 'auto arrange'. Just uncheck it and you'll be able to rearrange everything again.
