Hi, anyone knows about multilinking modems for faster dialup? I need more speed. But am not ready for broadband, jet. So, I’ve found out this multilinking modems possibility and need some information about it. Anyone having it installed? Is this payable?

It is a cosy thing, but you have to do the calculation on yourself. It works as two separate modems with separate connections, meaning you need two telephone lines and multilinking protocol enabled on the side of ISP. Setting up is not a problem, this should be good, and it is pretty stabile feature, only if it is OK with costs. If you already have two lines, ISP might charge you for using multilink. This way, you have double bandwidth, it is one internet stream that is being split at the side of the provider, sent via two connections and adjoined again at the side of your computer. That is basically the story, the rest is calculation.
