I was being captured in a way with the chat addiction lately, been changing all kind of chat programs. Somehow at the end I stood by the MSN Messenger, maybe just because they kind of evolved and add some new features that made usual chat even more fun. I am being very “obedient “user following all the updates that show up. So at the end I decided to update to new Beta one, and then after download I was waiting for invite to come through, surprise! I needed a patch but even that wasn’t enough so the message that mswinsck.ock is missing or not correctly registered. And now I have no clue what to do. Any ideas?

Well, I can only say in simple way what to try even though I saw that even after this tip there are some other problems appearing. Download the mswinsck.ocx file again from a limewire, imesh..etc. Put that file in msn messenger folder and then run the patch and start MSN8. But some people complain that they can’t sign in then or getting error75 which is access error. On the other hand looking for answer to you problem I found on the internet that beta model of Msn messenger is bringing some extra feature with its download called the virus Virkel.F. Not sure did someone disguised it under the name of msn or just managed to crush and burn their new edition of MSN chat program. Suggestion –stick with the old models for now ,hanging with oldies is not a bad thing sometimes.
