I've switched to Mozilla Firefox some time ago, used to be on IE 6. I'm now thinking it's not all that it's been jacked up to be. Since day one, Mozilla has been running slow, not at all times, but after it has trouble opening one page, it continues to go slow with all the other ones. If I restart, this goes away, but shows up again eventually. Is this a known problem, and is there an easy fix?

Actually yes, I suspect it is and there is. If you're opening .pdf files, Adobe Reader has a tendency to load all sorts of plugins and whatnots that you don't really need into the browser. Even when you close the pdf document, these stay loaded and slow down your browser. The solution would be downloading an extension called "PDF download". It lets you choose how to open a pdf file when you click on it, and even can convert it to html almost instantly.
