Hello. This may sound a bit daft, but it's a serious problem to me, and I'm already getting conflicting advice, so bear with me. I'm trying to attach a new ATI 9550 card to a Delta 2 LSR motherboard… and I can't seem to do it. There's this little connector thing that just won't budge. A friend told me that this is because this motherboard's AGP slots aren’t compatible with older, x4 and x2 ones, but I always thought that was a different kind of compatibility issue, less "mechanical" than the problem I have now? Can anyone with prior experience w/this hardware help me out here? Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand correctly – you're having difficulty physically fitting the card into the slot, because of an obstacle of some sort? If this is so, than you're right, it has nothing to do with AGP speed compatibility. Still, I have no idea what could have caused this "mechanical" problem of yours… unless you're talking about one of those metal sliders that you need to push down before you slide the card in? If you are, just do it: press down, fit card, release. How hard can it be?
