More usb ports please

I have multiple hardware parts that need to be plugged into USB ports, yet I only have three ports at the back of my CPU, and one in front. That is not enough, at least for me. Is there some sort expansion stuff that I can plug so that I may leave more than four items plugged in at once? Thanks for any advice.

A USB hub can be used. This hub plugs into one of your existing USB ports on your computer, and expands it by the amount of ports it has in the hub.

They are easily available; there should be some for sale at your local computer shop.
