| Yesterday I bought external USB HDD with USB hub and it worked just fine. Since this morning, I have been experiencing some problem. When I want to access it, my USB drive always reports an error. I think that I, maybe, made an error with buying no name drive. Is it one more of the Vista incompatibility issues? |

| I don't think that your problem is related either with your USB drive manufacturer or your USB hub. I also don't think that you have the problem with Vista incompatibility. You did not experience problem with accessing your USB drive from the beginning. Therefore, I think you should check what you did on your computer since yesterday. Maybe you installed some new driver or software that could cause your problem with accessing your USB drive. Maybe your drive just has some temporary problem. Because of that, you should try to reformat it once again. There is a possibility that you have some virus or adware that cause your problem. You should do a complete check of your machine. |
