Monitor standby problems

I am frustrated with this problem. During gaming my monitor goes to standby and I can not bring it back until I reset computer. This happens every time during playing games more then 20 minutes. I have Samsung 1100MB 21’’ monitor and ATI Radeon 9600 XT video card. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello. I have to disappoint you but I have to tell you that I suspect your video card is broken and you will have to replace it. When monitor goes in standby like this, without any apparent reason, then I always suspect on video card. Especially because you told that this problem happens when you are playing games which demands full video card activity.
