| How come that my OS doesnt recognize picture movement on the screen. I mean, when I play games it suddenly goes stand by. It should know that I am doing something, so it shouldnt force system to go into stand by mode. Let me describe you my configuration. Intel Centrino, 512 mb Ram, 40 Gb hard disk, and the most important, LCD monitor Samsung SyncMaster 2ms. Video card is integrated. I tried to change power settings, but Windows wont save them. It always reset on previous value, so I literally have no control over it. Have you ever experienced this kind of problem? |

| Yeah, I did, once. Solution was in my case very simple. New monitors have default settings about stand by, its all integrated. So I just went to monitors menu and changed stand by settings manually. In your case, if its not monitor, then its video card or some power settings. In your place, I would try to reconfigure settings on a graphic card. Integrated video card are always making problems. Its no wonder that system goes stand by. What kind of games are you playing? Some of these RPG are very intensive, so try with other options. Like screen resolution, color palette, shadows, effectsI know thats not a final solution, but you will eventually see if its about game or not. |
