This happens after a put in a new video card. It goes into standby mode (the little light turns orange) as soon as I boot up. The weird thing is, when I try starting up in safe mode, everything works normally!
The monitor is a 21 inch Daewoo, the card is a GeForce 7900GS (used, but it works on another machine).
Any thoughts?

If you're absolutely, positively sure that the card is OK (which usually turns out to be guesswork when it comes to used video cards), then I guess you could start looking for the culprit elsewhere: First, what is your motherboard, and is it compatible with the card? Second, are you using the latest version of the drivers?
