After staying AFK for an hour or more, either watching videos, listening to music, or just staying away from it, my monitor seems to shut down; it goes black and shows the "No Signal" message, sometimes this freezes my whole computer and I have to restart.
This doesn't seem to happen when I'm at the keyboard working, so I assume it's a sleep mode issue of some kind. The thing is, I've checked in Windows and the sleep timers are all disabled in Power Savings (the "always on" scheme).
So what else could it be?!

Sometimes tackling the obvious first is a good way to start: Did you check the monitor connections, like that message said (as in "no signal, check cable")? It's possible that either the cable connecting your monitor to the case or the monitor's power cable (or both of 'em) are loose.
