Hi everyone! I am looking to buy new monitor. I have spent lot of time on internet reading monitor reviews and reading technical specifications of different CRT monitors in effort to decide which one to buy. I can understand effects of most things in specification like resolution refresh rate etc except pixel size. I wonder what pixels size means and how it affects on monitor performance?

CRT monitor screen consist of many pixels. They are, lets say, small dots that create picture you see. They can have different sizes so you have monitors with 0.26mm pixel size then 0.25mm, 0.22mm, 0.20mm pixel size to name just the most common ones. This means that the smaller pixel size is more pixels per inch are present and better picture quality is. So, you will like to buy monitor with smallest pixel size if it fulfills your other needs. I hope I have helped you a little.
