Last fall I bought a brand new monitor and I haven’t had a chance to try it out until last night and I was in for a huge surprise. At first nothing was wrong with the damn thing and after a while it started acting all crazy on me. Called a friend and he told me that if the monitor is not flickering, then I have a Monitor Driver issue. What do I need to do?

First of all you need to make sure that everything is all right with the monitor itself. If it doesn’t flick it is still not safe to day that everything is all right with the monitor and not with the monitor drive. Even if everything is good as far as monitor is concerned I would still not look at the driver for any kind of problems. I think that the next logical step would be checking the cable connection between monitor and the computer. Only after you did all this, should you focus your attention to the monitor driver issue, as you put it so elegantly. I hope you’ll sort everything out very quickly.
