| Hey there. I think that my modem is not installed properly. I have Windows XP installed, it recognized the modem and installed the drivers for it. But now, my modem is not functioning, it won’t dial a connection and it won’t connect to the internet. So, I do not know what to do. Can somebody please help me? Many thanks, in advance |

| Well, I do not know what to tell you. Maybe you are right about the driver; maybe your modem needs another one. I think you should uninstall the driver that is currently installed, and try installing another one. I think you should search for the manufacturer and type of your modem and download adequate driver from the net. If you bought the driver yourself, it possibly came with installation CD and you should try installing it using that CD. But maybe the problem is not at all in the driver. Maybe you didn’t make a good connection to the internet, and from that reason you can not establish a connection. |
