Modem driver for Compaq Presario 1234 laptop?

I have recently bought Compaq Presario 1234 laptop. I intend to use it mostly for the Internet and text-editing. However, before I connect I will need a modem driver. Unfortunately, I am not sure just how and where to find it. If anyone could help with some suggestions, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

It is certain you will need to install a modem driver. There are many places on the Internet where you might be able to search for it and find it. However, there is no need for you to waste too much time. I suggest you go to http://members.driverguide.com/driver/
detail.php?driverid20080. There you can find a list of all modem drivers for various types of Compaq Presario computers. Among them you will see your 1234 model. Simply download it from another computer, copy to your laptop and install. Best of luck.
