Modem/Router shuts off every 30 minutes

Hello. I have a very strange issue with my modem/router. It is a Netgear DSL modem with integrated router. I was using it for some time without any problems, but it started to turn off every 30 minutes or so, recently. It just shuts off regardless of internet connection. It does not matter if I am surfing or not. Do you know what the problem here is?

Hello. It looks to me that your modem/router is broken. Symptoms like shutting off or resetting regularly without reason are signs of modem malfunction. Modem is maybe shutting off every 30 minutes because it overheats. This is not in correlation with internet usage. You should check its temperature when it shuts off. However, no matter the cause, I recommend you to buy new device.
