Hello! I have Gateway computer and everything worked fine. But, I have used Gateway’s update program. This program told me that I can update driver for my modem and I did that. After rebooting my system modem did not work. I have tried to delete update, and I thought that I succeed, but I was wrong. Now I really do not know what to do to remove update. I have two modems installed now. Help!

Hello! As you may suspect, you have made mistake because you did not first uninstall old driver and then installed new one. This procedure is strongly recommended, just to let you know. If you want to make your modem operative again, you will need to remove completely both drivers and to install appropriate one. If you do not know how to fix registry files, I suggest you to clean install again your operating system.
