This is becoming too frustrating for me. I have bought new hard drive (Seagate Barracuda 320 GB) and installed it in my computer. Unfortunately, this second hard drive is missing. I can see only first hard drive and new one can not be recognized by BIOS and Windows. Is there something I can do here or I have just bought faulty hard drive?
Your second hard drive is not missing. I guess you have not properly placed jumpers. If both hard drives are on the same IDE cable then one has to be set as master and another one has to be set as slave. If both of hem have same jumper settings then one of them will not be recognized. Change jumper settings and everything will be fine.
