| Hello! I am rapidly losing my disk space. I had a lot of large files on my hard drive but I have deleted them. After this I tried to copy few movies from DVD but Windows reported that I do not have enough free space on hard drive and I am sure that I have enough space (I have deleted almost 12GB and movies have around 3 GB). Where is my missing hard disk space? |

| I bet you have Norton Internet Security or Norton SystemWorks installed. These software packages have a nasty habit to protect you recycle bin and this feature is enabled by default. This means that if you delete files and even empty recycle bin these files will be stored as hidden files in some of the Nortons folders to give you ability to restore them later. Disable this feature and you will regain missing hard drive space. |
