Hello, I have a strange problem at Windows XP startup. Every time I run it, I get this error message: "Windows cannot find C:\WINDOWS\System32\cmd32.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." I tried searching for the file manually, and came up with nothing. I also checked the startup .bat file to see if it's been somehow tempered with, but didn't find anything. What's this all about, and how do I set it right?

Most likely, you got some kind of spyware installed on your system, whether knowingly or not. Try downloading a program called "HijackThis" (no space) off the net, and running a scan with it. When you get the results, don't intervene on your own – just post the log to the forums where people with more expertise can analyze it for you and tell you what registry entries you can/should remove.
