| Hm, as far as I remember, there’s only the first version of Windows XP and SP2 upgrade can be downloaded form Microsoft site. I don’t think that they made SP2 integrated version of XP. That file has about 260MB. I’m not quite sure but I think that it’s the approximate size, and that means you can easily download it if you have cable or ADSL internet connection. If you don’t, you can ask Microsoft customer support centre what to do and how to solve that problem. As for compatibility issue, I also don’t think that SP2 is requirement for programs. You’ve probably haven’t understood it correctly. Anyway, you really should have it installed because of the updates. |
