Well, I somehow made a success to setup Unix system for one of mine very demanding customer. I am sick and tired of his desires, and I really don’t know how to confront with his last wish. He now wants to play MIDI files over the internet. I am asking my self, what is wrong with today’s mp3 files?…. The most worst of all regarding this that I didn’t saw Netscape plug-in so far. He is very willful, so I just don’t know how to affect against his desires. Thanks for any help.

When is the last time you actually tried to search over the internet for that plug-in? I am asking this because I somehow ran over the solution for you. I am talking about UMP. Universal plug-in for midi files over the Netscape browser. Supported platforms are SUN Ultra, SGI Indy and SUN IPX. At least the guys who developed that are speaking such things. Good luck.
