It's sort of embarrassing, but I need help badly, so here it is: I can't login to configure the router! I've read carefully through all the documentation provided, and I've tried the default, factory password ("password") and username ("admin"), but I still can't login. I keep getting the incorrect pass/user message. I've tried restarting, it doesn't change a thing. Could someone help me sort this out, please?

Are you completely sure that no one had access to the config menu before you? When there's more than one person involved, it's usually very easy for one to login, set his own password, and forgets to tell the other. Other than that, update your router's firmware… and I assume you already tried calling tech support?
