Hello. Can someone explain to me what mirroring technology is? I have heard about disk cloning and everything else, but now I am confused with this information. Isnt that the same? Never mind. If someone is willing to reveal something more about this technology I will be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

You can say that it is similar as the cloning of hard drives, but still there is a lot of difference. I will try to explain this to you with the RAID method. RAID array for example. Simple RAID is when two or more hard disk drives are working as one. Combining all of drive space to one huge hard drive, and it also improves speed. But RAID array is very usable when you want to secure your data on the server. How? Imagine that you have two hard drives with 120 gigs. And in case of emergency, if one of them fails, the other one is active immediately, which means that you dont have 240 gigs when in array but two times 120, and all the time, doubled content.
