| Hello. When a computer is attacked once with a malware trojan or a horse dropper, after the cleaning procedure, what should we, regular and non-experienced users about to do after? When a war ends, there is a chance for another war, right? So, which countermeasures are the most common and effective for further prevention? Thanks in advance. |

| First of all, it is very easy for everyone, never to get experienced with the things you mentioned. How? When installing Windows for the first time (clean install), do it without any internet or network connection. After the motherboard drivers installation, provided from a CD (I am speaking in the name of reliable resources), antivirus and firewall software installation comes right after. When done, turn on your network connection and youll be safe. After the war, there is nothing else you can do to prevent next one, but to keep your anti-malware software up to date as everything else, and to search for vulnerability patches for other programs, constantly. |
