I cannot for the life of me work out this problem.

When I mail merge a document using Office word 2003. The date field is showing as the correct format in Excel.

That is it shows dd/mm/yyyy in excel.

But after the mail merge it shows: mm/dd/yyyy in Microsoft Word

Why does it do this?

And how do I fix it.

I"ve tried removing and installing MS Office again and it still didnt work. And I've checked that my regional settings and date is Australia.

Please help
